Jennie Dorsey's practice is heavily concentrated on civil appeals, class actions, and complex commercial disputes. She has handled and argued a wide range of cases in the Nevada Supreme Court and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, and Jennie was part of the Firm's appellate team that obtained a unanimous decision from the United States Supreme Court in the health-care-fraud class action, Forsyth v. Humana.

Named as a Super Lawyers Mountain States Rising Star and recognized as one of Nevada Business Magazine’s Legal Elite, Jennie was also selected to serve on the Nevada Supreme Court's Committee on Professionalism. She is a sustaining member of the American Society of Legal Writers ("Scribes") and the Litigation Section of the American Bar Association, and she holds Martindale-Hubbell’s highest AV rating for competency and ethics.

A native Las Vegan, Jennie received her Bachelor of Arts degree from UNLV. She served as a Congressional Intern for Senator Richard Bryan (D-Nev.) and a Judicial Extern for the Honorable Stephen Reinhardt on the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. She joined the Firm immediately after earning her law degree from Pepperdine School of Law in 1997.

Jennie was a published member of the Pepperdine Law Review and has been the co-author of the Nevada section of the treatise Survey of State Class Action Law since 1999. She currently sits on the Pepperdine School of Law's Board of Visitors, is a member of the UNLV Foundation’s Advisory Board, and has been recognized for her pro bono class action work with the Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada.
